Seven prisoners of conscience, released by the Cuban regime

Seven prisoners of conscience, released by the Cuban regime, arrived today, Tuesday, to Madrid. So far, a total of 20 dissidents have expressed the intention of being sent to Spain.
The first group of six prisoners of conscience Cubans arrived shortly before 13 hours (12 hours in Lisbon), an Air Europa flight arriving from Havana.
Sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the group is formed by Madrid Lester Gonzalez, Omar Ruiz, Antonio Villarreal, Julio César Gálvez, José Luis García Paneque and Pablo Pacheco, accompanied by their families.
On another plane, Iberia, Ricardo González Alfonso arrived shortly before 14 hours (13 hours in Lisbon).
The former Cuban prisoners were received at Madrid airport by Agustin Santos, chief of staff to the Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos.

Successful or not, the Spanish national team will parade in Madrid

Win or lose the 2010 World Cup final next Sunday against the Netherlands, the Spanish national team football will parade the streets of Madrid on Monday.

"Whatever the final outcome of the capital will make the selection party," reads a statement released today by the municipality of Madrid.
"The city council organized in collaboration with the Spanish Football Federation, a large reception to the players as a sign of support and admiration unanimous," also refers to the municipality.
The Spanish victory in the semi-finals of the 2010 World Cup against Germany (1-0) was celebrated by thousands of people throughout the night in Madrid. The final between Spain and Holland will be held at 19:30 (Lisbon time) next Sunday (broadcast live on RTP1)
