Google App Inventor: TEENS GET DA POWERRRRR

Google launches a new product on Monday, anyone can make an application for Android phones.
Google App Inventor claims to allow non-programmers to develop applications for Android complete work by connecting a series of "blocks". Google has an Inventor App in schools is the test for a year, the NYTimes. At the time of writing, App Finder is available only to those with an application form.
The concept is clever: it's not just the Android Market, an open platform for developers (without the approval process, ala the App Store), but now we probably have a variety of specialized applications built by non-developers. This may radically increase the amount of programs on the market for the App Store.
